IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 Trader Rating: (2) | this is my 2nd try with this thread . . . my last one was deleted with no explenation . . . if you have a problem with something speak up and explain thank you . . . 06 sti 8k miles) ok so im thinking my motor mounts or something are messed up, i just got an alignment done for the 2nd time and the car pulls alittle to the right my settings are : camber -1.0 -1.0 caster 4.0 4.0 toe -.01 -.00 rear -1.4 -1.6 .01 .01 it feels like it pulls to the right more or at all when i give it gas, also when i shift it feels alittle jerky and my shifter when giving it gas slowly moves to the rigthhand side as the rpms go up ( the shifter moves alot) and sometimes it wouldnt go into 2nd gear when i am REALLY on it im thinking about bringing it into the dealer to get it really checked out but i have an intake (aps podd intake) and a catback (ansa exhaust) i guess if i to go to adealer im lookin for a mod friendly one. . . ( i dont know of a nice friendly dealer near me ( im in central jersey right near nitti subaru but im affraid to go there even though i bought the car there) also what are some signs of broken motor mounts ( i did launch it a few times, but not super hard at the track) my car just doesnt feel the same anymore and i miss it also 90% of the time ive driven the car i had 17inch crappy wheels with snow tires and now i have 18's 8.5 inch with 235 40 18 falken azenis 615s on it i couldnt find the warenty forum so i am sorry and feel free to move it to the right one. thanks Jay This ad is not endorsed by this member. Its plastic! |

| Junior STI Driver | I am having the same problem in my 06. After a few hard runs (one against an Evo who I edged out on), my car is pulling to the left. I had been thinking it was possibly a tire leak. I am hoping the dealer will replace them with 05 mounts under warranty. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 Trader Rating: (2) | i went to a good dealer and the left mount was broken, so they are replacing with 05s if your car is pulling you might have a mount that is broken, and they are composite so they can break from normal driving, everything is fine and im very happy subaru for rectifying the problem quickly. . anyone who has an 06 sti should get this checked out. . thanks for everyones help |

IWSTI Addict since: Dec 2003 Trader Rating: (1) | there's only one reason for plastic mounts and softer uspensions on usdm cars and that's to appeal to big fat american asses. if you are really serious about tightening your drivetrain, get a set of cusco engine and tranny mounts. like everything else you can do to tighten up the car, there is a severe penalty in the form of nva. |

My OEM motor mounts are still good, although I have a set of Group N's standing by! This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
