Default Lemon Law??

Hey Who Here Has Applies The Lemon Law? And What Are Your Results? Please Explain To Me The Problem And Why You Applied It? And If You Are Still In The Process Id Still Like To Hear Your Situation.

Me Personally I Am Applying The Lemon Law On My Car Due To My Tranny Which They Did Fix But The Car Was Out Of Commision Over A Month And Went In For Repairs Over 4 Times For The Tranny And The Steering Clunk And The Drifting To The Right And Left...now My Motor Is Burning Oil And Loss Of Power.

Please List Your Modifcations As Well, Me I Have None Besdies Gauges An Exhaust And Suspension And Different Wheels!

Thanks Guys

you must check your state's statutory requirements for LL. Here in NY it's 30days out of service or 4 repair attempts. Once you've reached one of those, and it sounds like you've met both, you can trigger lemonlaw.
I'm in the process with my CTS-V now, sent a letter to GM and await their response....either buy the car back with full refund of all costs, or arbitration.
I'd recommend you return your car to stock before you go this way, or they will blame ALL PROBLEMS on your mods.
Good luck,
ace

I Hope You Did Not Bring Your Car To The Dealer With Those Mods The Lemon Law Does Not Pertain To Any Cars That Have Teh Mods If Your Car Has Over 18000 Miles If It Is More Than 1 Year Old They Are Going To Laugh At You Maybe If You Didnt Beat Teh Living Hell Out Of Teh Car It Still Would Run OK You Are One Of Teh Only People Having Problems With Teh Trans And If You Talk Like This At The Dealer You Are Going To Get Laughed At By Them Good Luck But I Dont Think You Are Getting A New Toy.....Teh Barn!!

you guys are pretty funny! anyways modifcations there is no power mods and only mods is suspension and wheels and gauges, other then that there is none, as far as when all these things happened it was stock when it went in besdies the wheels and a bar inside the car for the 5 point harness and some different brake pads, and those gauges, i did place an exhaust as well, but that was it....

now back to my questions that weren't answered....I'd still like to know who here on the STI forum has applied for the lemon law on there 'STI' and for what reasons...?

Thank You

My car in a dealership for about 45 days consectutive. Clunking and binding during stop and go situation.
During that 45 days. they replaced.
Rear diff twice(first one they replaced was faulty)
Center Diff once
rear struts twice
Long story short. They took back my 05 sti and gave me a 06 sti. Im in CA....
And they still have no idea why it was doing that... LOL...
