Default Road Assistance post 3y/36K for "Gold"

I got SAS Gold Plus Plan (6y/80K) when I got my STi on 06/21/03. I got my STi @MSRP (some Boston dealers had ADMU on the sticker) back then, my small town Massachusetts dealer threw that in for half the price. Now my 3 years free Roadside Assistance ends on 06/21/06. Now how does it work after that for the next three years? Does the number 1-800-261-2155 stay the same? I recall some automatic membership to a motor club, but I may be wrong. I can probably dig up the old agreement to see that but if somene here knows, that will help.
Regards,
Saif.

I don't know about any Gold plan but I got an extended warranty on mine. Subaru's roadside assistance is for the 3/36, the extended warranty I have is also through Subaru but it is also a membership in the Cross Country Motor Club... if that means anything. I have 2 cards, one for each, and both say Subaru on them and they both have the same 800 number you mentioned.

I called Subaru up and they confirmed that the same 800 number applies. No real need to carry a card. All I have to do is call in with the VIN and they will know that the car is covered for 6y/80K. Using my VIN he confirmed and compared my agreement to what his database shows.
Thanks,
Saif.

How much does this 6yr/80k plan go for, and is there a deductible?

I believe it was priced at $1360 when I got it back in 2003. The reason I got it for half the price was my dealer knew that I would be moving out of MA to IL in a months time. At least that is what he claimed when he offered me the discount. I went with a $50 deductible.

Cool. Thanks for the info. With the 5/60k, that's basically covering your car for only a total of 6/80k, or does that start AFTER the 3/36k expires? In other words, by getting this warranty, does it mean I would really be covered for 9/80k?
