IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2004 Trader Rating: (1) | Sorry I don't have a picture of it flipped on my car but if you search there are a couple posted. If you look at my pictures above you can see the sway bar end links attached to the lateral links. They should look like that, pointed up. If your bar flips the sway bar end links will be pointed down and bent over the lateral links causing the damage I was asking about. Also to add to my question about the dealer's responsibility, they told me to drive around for 5 days with the sway bar flipped while they ordered the end links because they didn't want to give me a loaner car. So they definitely made the damage worse. If it were up to me I wouldn't have driven the car with a flipped sway bar. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. The rear wheel would "float" before coming back into contact with the driveway. If this happens with your driveway, I'd be looking into it if I were you. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 Trader Rating: (1) | On my 04, I flipped my twice in one week. Only one side though. It was caused by the driveway at work. The car would slope to one side with the fender just about touching the one tire and having about 4" clear on the other side. I finally had to get some Perrin end links and a new swaybar as well. I got the dealer to install them under warrenty. Now I have an 06 which I've left the suspension stock and haven't had any problems yet. |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | it doens't just happen from driving obviously, they can flip when you jack the car up and then when you set it back down. Mine flipped when my suspension was completely stock, the end links looked like C's they were bent so bad. I have hotchkis endlinks now still w/ stock swaybar and have had no issues. |
