Wow, that is weird. My 05 had the lip on the IC hose. I ordered a replacement last year and it had a lip too (which makes sense if they changed it

)

Strange...I guess that is another benefit of the CDN model; heated seats, mirrors, rear passthrough and "lipped" IC hoses!
