Default Radiator covered under powertrain 60k warranty?

Ok here's the deal. About a year ago, last January, I had a radiator fluid leak, the subaru dealership pressure tested it and found a leak in the upper assembly and replaced it under warranty (with all current mods). Now today when I got home from work I noticed the smell of radiator fluid, I popped the hood and sure enough there was a small amount of fluid collected at the bottom. The reservoir was still 3/4 full so it appears to be a minor leak. I did not see any active dripping etc.

My question is I now have 45k miles on the car so I am out of the 36k wear item warranty but still in the 60k powertrain warranty. Where does the radiator fall. And lets say the radiator doesn't fall under the warranty shouldn't they still cover it if the leak is at the same place it was last year?

I'm dropping it off tomorrow evening so we shall see what they think...

Not to bring you down but probably not covered. Bumper to bumper 3/36, powertrain 5/60. However since they already repaired an area, they may have some implied warranty for the repair. Good luck

Hmm I'm dropping it off this evening I'll let you know. I'm hoping the leak is in the same area it was before so that they will cover it again no charge.

If not then it's time for a Koyo aluminum radiator!

OK it ended up just being a loose clamp, they tightened that and did a pressure test and found no leaks, so everything appears to be good. I was taking a look at those Koyos before they called me and told me the good news
