Default Basic 3yrs/36K warrenty

My 04' STi is @ 25,000miles now, just want to know if I can just go to the dealership and go in for a check up on my car. Would they charge me for that or that is part of warrenty? What is covered under warrenty?

I have a 04 now with 22K, i brouth it in for a check up, thought it was not boosting properly, i had no issues with the dealer, also just had the rear struts & wheel bearing replaced under warranty with no issues. So i would imagine there would be no problem, unless they found some unusual wear and tear....

My dealership doesn't charge for the checkup, but if there is something wrong that isn't covered under warranty then they will charge you to fix it.

I want for a dealer/owner introduction the other night for my wifes Legacy and I was glad I went where I didn't bother to attend the one for my STi.

The dealer told me Subaru will cover brake pads, clutches, even alignments for the 3 year 36K warrenty period. I asked if that applied to my STi and he said "yes" as long as there hasn't been perposeful abuse to the car. I have about 10 other witnesses to this statement.

To say the least I was shocked. I just wish others on the board weren't having such problems with thier vehicles, it can really takes the fun out of ownership.

This was Elway South on Arapahoe for those in the Denver area.

http://www.subaru.com/owners/warrant....jsp?year=2004 A dealership will charge for time spent on a car usually, ask them.

I read the warrenty info and it says

Wear Item Limited Warranty
Wear item coverage for all models is 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Items covered include brake pad/shoe linings, clutch disk linings, and wiper blades.

So I am going to check with my dealership tommorow. THanks for the help

So, finally picked up my car today from dealer. I was pretty surprized. Brakes pads were covered as well as windshield wipers. They replaced front pads and resurfaced the front brake and put new wipers.

I also asked about allignment, and they will do a one time alignment.

Clutch Lining is also covered...but I do not what that is, can anyone help?

They did a one time alignment for me but I do not know about if you instaleld springs. I was kinda pissed because I told them when I test drove it that it was out of alignment, and even drove it for a week until I could convince them it wasn't normal crowning and always pulled to the left. Turns out the rear driver wheel was out of alignment. I could probably make them do another one if I needed now since it was found to be out of factory specs BRAND NEW.
