Default Paint rubbing away at trunk

Think I would have any luck trying to get subaru to warrenty worn paint? I have an 05 with <5k miles and at two spots around the edge of the trunk, it is contacting the body/bumper and has worn the paint down. I dont know how its touching it but there are clear marks on both panels. At rest the clearance is normal and i tried to see what might be making them come into contact with eachother and cannot duplicate the problem.

Hi I had that problem last year on my 05 , the dealership did not want to warranty it, but I was pretty adamant and they brought in a Suburu regional guy, reluctantly they found the trunk hinges to be the problem replaced those and painted it...act of congress. the dealership in customer service sucks.
bad manager.
It is starting again. keep going back and call the corporate hotline
