How is the warranty like over there?

I recently visited my local Subaru dealer and asked if there was a 06 STI brochure (official launch this 20th). Went on the ask some questions. Apparently, only 1 year warranty is given or the warranty cedes at 20,000 km

Do you guys get like 2 to 3 years warranty? And NO TEST DRIVE FOR STI 06!

Here in the states we get a 36 month / 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, plus like an additional powertrain or something along that lines (can't remember exactly).

In Canada we get 36 month/60,000km bumper to bumper and 5 year/120,000km powertrain warrenty. No idea about the test drive on '06s, but I didn't get to test drive my 04.

at my local dealer, testdrives are not offered. they dont normally keep STis in stock.

i know they allow testdrives in the WRX. i have talked to each of their sales people at different occasions about buying an STi, and they never offered a testdrive. just a testdrive in a WRX.

US warranty is 3 years/36000 miles bumper to bumper and 5 years/60000 miles powertrain. Test drives depend on the dealer. My dealer let me test drive one about 2 weeks before I bought it and then again on the day I was going to buy. I cannot imagine buying a car without a test drive. Nix that, I wouldn't buy a car without a test drive.
