Default Warranty Question

I have been looking for a 04 Sti to buy and I am going to export overseas. So the thing is a couple of owners have been mentioning the warranty on the car that it is 3 year or 45,000 miles and International. And are claiming it can be moved to wherever ? Do any of you know how that works? Isn't best for me to check the dealer here, and see what they say? I dought that this will work because the dealer here is retarded always hearing about Subaru owners waiting 3-4 months for 1 sensor or some BS...
What do you guys think and if you have any info about this it would be great!

Thankz, Zeus

i think if your car was made "by" Subaru of AMERICA ... you have to claim the waranty to them..

then if you're like in canada .. if you go to a dealer it' Subaru of CANADA .. since these 2 division is completly different .. you will have to go in US to make the claim

your car is still on warranty .. but you can get it fixed until you go the the original contry...

this is not all .. say you live in texas .. your car is a SOA ... you go for a trip in canada .. and something brake IN CANADA ... you're still on waranty but no dealer will fix it on a claim.. you will have to pay for the repair .. then ask SOA to pay you back ...

it'S what i have understood when i asked my dealer maybe i'm wrong since dealer are not alwais right hahaha
