-Subaru guy reads the flyer out loud which says : .."Please service your subaru at an official subaru dealership, we know your car and want to put you back on the road as quickly as possible"

-Lawyer hands the letter....

-I snap the picture and tell the dude to (insert comment here)

Just got a call from my dealership, who seems to be on my side...either because they cant do more than they already have and now know how pathetic subaru canada is....or they are scared of me and my lawyer...heheh i would think the second option makes more sense.

They told me that subaru canada told them (notice the nice little circle of who said what to whom...instead of directly contacting me) that they found an irregularity in something electric. No real progress was made. the dealership wanted to double check that the car wasnt modified...i have a feeling they might try to weasel themselves out of this by trying to find some modification done to the car...if they go this way.....this is going to be even more fun for me.

Nahh i didnt buy it from the dealership which is actually taking care of it. I bought it used from a hyundai dealership. But the dealership im talking about is the same one that has been servicing my car since i bought it. And they are the guys who had my car for 3 months before it went to subaru canada in toronto. At first i didnt think the dealership was being too good with me...not calling or giving me info on my car.

But now they seem to be on the right page...so thats good. hopefully SOMETHING will happen this week...and if it doesnt...

bring on the law

After having your car for 4 months and counting, I don't think they will have the support of a court of law to play the "your car is modified" card. Have your lawyer send a letter to the service manager, the general manager and the president of Subaru Canada and ALL vice presidents and the board of directors. Stop dealing with the "customer service" department and go to upper management through your lawyer. The desision will come from up there.
Ask them if they really value you as a customer? Ask them why you should buy another Subaru after this performance.

The Subaru tech that works on my 04 STi mentioned they had a gearbox in a WRX that wasn't grounded properly. They spent 40 hours trying to resolve the issue, then replaced the entire gearbox( as per SoC) only to find they still had the problem.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Dude you know what i am thinking now. Blame the tires! HAHAHA Just ahve your lawyer send the letters, as Sideoiler mentioned above. Finish twith this, and tell them to give you a brand spanking new 06 for the trouble you went through and all charges are dropped. OHH ask for two
Good luck , let us know.

What do you think could cause the front and read tires not to spin at the same time?
