Default Installing aftermarket springs

Can anyone give me any information about what the dealership will do if you install aftermarket springs? Just want to know if anyone has had any problems with the dealership after they swapped springs.

Just got back from the dealer today after having problems with my suspension after the DEALER installed aftermarket lowering springs (this was before I bought my car). As a result of the springs the stock end links failed and thankfully the dealer said they would replace it this time since they installed the wheels and springs before the car was bought new. They did tell me if the end links fail again (which I'm sure they will) I will have to replace them at my cost, since I bought the car knowing it was lowered using aftermarket parts. I am already looking at aftermarket end links so that I don't have this problem again.

Install springs

What is not covered anymore

Suspension< all of it
Axles < Angles changed, causes premature wear, no coverage
Tires < changed suspension geometry
Wheel bearings < changed suspension geometry puts undue stress on bearings

And thats if the dealer ISNT a jerk. If they are, there is MANY more things they can refuse to cover and somehow link to the springs.

Thats a good dealership. Most of the beter dealerships will cover the first mishap and then you are on your own when aftermarket parts are concerned....Better than just hearing no!

They can try to deny a claim, and they can carp about no longer covering such and so, but in the US the can't actually refuse to cover it unless they can PROVE that the springs caused the failure.
