Default cruise control light

I own an 05 sti. i recently put an full tbe on the car, about a week later, i'm driving down the road and my cruise control light just starts flashing???????? anyone ever seen or had this happen before. the dealership in my area are d**ks when it comes to working on my car bc they think just b/c i've altered my exhaust my warranty is voided i have to drive almost 50 miles to another town to get the car worked on. my problem is i work six days a week and can't get there when they are open. any help is appreciated, thanks

i called the dealer here in nashville(which i hate dealing with), they told me that anytime my cel came on the cruise light will flash, is this true?

My cruise contorl light and CEL also started flashing when I changed my brake lines. Did you guys discount you battery (-) and resetted the ECU. Once, I did this the light did not flash anymore.

Thumbs up check/cruise control light fix...

I had the same thing happen to me and I followed the directions shown here and bought the HELP! spark plug anti-foulers and it worked like a charm! Thanks to the tweaker guy who thought of that.... peace

I had the same problem with me. My CC light would start blinking but then no CEL. The CC light only came on on the highway...then finanlly one day the check engine light came on. I took it the dealer and they said my O2 sensor on bank one was low on voltage. They had to order the part but they fixed it and gave me no problems with my perrin dp and O2 simulator.

You should just take it to any autozone or pepboys and have them check it on their computers. Just make sure they dont reset it so you can take it to dealer; hopefully the dealer wont give you anyproblems about your mods.
