Default Dealership damaged my car!

Guys, I don't know what to do. I just bought my '05 sti about 1.5 weeks ago. It was almost completely perfect. I took it in for the 60,000 mile maintenance, and now I have a ding on the driver rear door, chips all over my hood, chipped rims, and a small scrape on the passenger rear door (like it was rested on concrete).

I drove to sunoco because they had used the last little bit of my gas and left me practically empty. I was standing in the parking lot when I noticed the ding and everything else. I called the dealership within 10 minutes and didn't leave the car onece.I went back and talked to one of the sales guys because all the service guys had gone home. I left a message for the service manager and will hear from him tomorrow.

What should I do/ask/demand from the dealership? I could ****ing kill someone right now. My life savings was just messed up by the dealership.

With you leaving the dealership, I bet they blame damage on you.

I'm gonna be watching this thread cuz I'd like to see the outcome. Sorry to hear the situation.

Sorry man, don't think your really gonna get anything out of it since you left the grounds of the dealership before you noticed it.

that was your first mistake man, always always always look over your vehicle prior to dropping off your vehicle and picking it up, that way you'd have a legit reason to raise hell.

They can easily suspect you of damaging your own car now. anyone can walk into a dealership and say so and so did this etc. but is it really the truth? no not all the time.

It was day subaru on west liberty avenue in pittsburgh pa (sorry no commas, it's late ). The only reason I didn't notice anything is because they were insistant on giving me a complimentary wash. The car was wet, so I didn't see anything. I literally called the dealership within 10 minutes of leaving tops. I was at a gas station about 1/4 mile up the road.

Man if they **** me over on this I am going to make sure no one goes there. I'm hoping they don't, though because they seem like pretty cool straight up guys. We'll see how management is...

That really sucks, man. I know you don't need to hear it, but still...

If the dealership doesn't fess up to what they did, well, wow -- I hope you react better than I probably would...

i say at first act super cool, nice & friendly. If they give u trouble, give them HELL!!! Ask for the head representative of the dealership or something and submit a formal complaint to Subaru.
You could also come in a couple weeks later so they kinda forget how u look like, say u wanna test drive a WRX, drive it like Ken Block, then as soon as u return it, walk out. That would be a shutdown

my friend is a tech at the local subaru / volvo dealership, and he has a little more education than just a high school diploma..
but besides the point, you NEVER leave a car without doing a walk around with the head tech or head salesman... happen to my father a few years back with his brand new truck, the mechanic decided to take it on some trails behind the dealership.. long story short the head mechanic had notes of the vehicles shape... and no where in it was "sticks and debris in the undercarriage, scratches along passenger panels."

lol, but anyways, i'd go into the managements office.. and just explain the situation calm and relaxed.. and threaten them that you'll ruin them.. haha...

You should always tell the dealer no complimentary car wash no matter what. That way no scratches on there when taking it through the automatic car wash (I read somewhere automatic car washes could scratch the wing up badly or something) and you can visually inspect it afterward when it's dry. Sorry to hear about this & I hope you get a satisfactory resolution.
