Air Bag Light was on after start up!?

04 STi, 89000km, stock.

After turning it on one day, my Air Bag Light was on?!
I park in my driveway behind my buddys jeep, so i doubt someone hit it. anyways...

I brought it to the dealership and dude said it was my batterie that was dying that was making sensors act all weird.

I have noticed that on damp (?if thats how u spell it) mornings she turns over a few times before actually running at idle while parked.

2 Questions
-Do you guys think it really is my batterie?
Isnt there a low bat idiot light in dash?

-Can the dealership run a scan to find an error code?
Where can i check the results of this code?

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thx in advance.

you can take your battery to a parts store and they can tell you if it needs to be replaced

Well it looks as though the batterie hasnt been replaced in a while so i dont mind changing it.

but i want really want to know if this will fix my Air Bag Light??
Come on guys, i know someone on here can point me in the right direction. There always has been in the past...

well when my battery got weak and i replaced it i don't recall any air bag light but i have an 05.the light did come on once when i removed my seats and forgot to plug the side air bag harness back in sorry no help idk
