Default Engine Coolant - in a pickle

I drained my engine coolant. I retightened the drain plug. I applied the conditioner to the filler tank. I filled the filler tank with coolant to the brim. I did not fill any other caps (radiator cap and other one over engine).

What do I do now or what am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated. The manual is speaking greek to me.

Fill the radiator first from the cap on the radiator. When that is full, put the cap on and continue filling it from the resevoir. Start the car and let it idle until it has come up to operating temp and the fans have kicked on. Watch the coolant level in the resevoir and add coolant as necessary. put the cap on when the coolant stops going down.

That's it

I think I overcomplicated this. Terminology kills me lol. I actually dumped the conditioner into the reservoir tank instead of the filler tank.

The filler tank it speaks of has the tabbed cap.

The reservoir has the yellow plastic cap.

The radiator has the round cap.

Last question...

When draining old coolant through the drain plug, the operator manual says to then drain the reservoir tank. Does this happen through the drain plug, or do you need to pull the tank out and dump it manually?

The reservoir tank isn't going to get drained through the radiator. You will have to pull that out to dump it.
