I'm running AP2 with the respected Cobb map.

I'm to the point where I'm thinking of extending my warranty for $500 (2 more years and 30k mi.)

Given the fact that SOA is trying so hard not to warranty this particular problem, should I spend the money on an exteded warranty?

If they do not cover in warranty. I would not pay them a dime! I would also pick up a new engine with better internals for the price the stealership wants you to pay.

30k for it? Geez, cars must be expensive in S. Africa! Dave Matthews rules.
