Angry Bumpy Ride

Ive Had my Sti for over 2 years now. Right before December I started to notice a change in the way she was handling. It almost seemed like the ride was very "bumpy" on non flat roads, even over subtle bumps, you would bounce in the seat. Now I know the Sti has a stiff performance suspension to begin with but something is obviously wrong. I was thinking maybe the rear struts, and when I had Subaru check it out, they found nothing wrong and sent 3 techs out to test drive it claiming it handled fine. I know my car and she is not handling like a normal Sti!

Has anyone experienced any suspension problems like this or possibly rear strut issues? Shes got 40K on her and only mods done are a turbo back exhaust, bov and K&n Intake.

Only thing i can think of since you mention December, is freezing cold temps. I notice my suspension is bouncy, rough during the winter months and fine in the summer

Everyone's interpretation of "bouncy" is different, even when new the car will bounce like mad on certain roads. That said, with 40k on the car it is quite possible your rear struts are done, though you should have noticed them making noise before they got too bad. Common issue.

Spamming the forum with multiple identical posts is a good way to lose your posting privileges. Don't do it again.
