IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | So I have a 2007 STi Limited. What can I do to fix the problem without voiding the warranty or endangering the life of the vehicle? This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

Otherwise, there really isn't anything you can do that won't technically void the warranty. I also have an 07 and had the same problems. I went with the Cobb AP, Stage 1. If I am concerned about the dealer knowing, I will reflash back to stock when I bring it in. There are other options out there for EM, for me though, the AP was the easiest. Their current map does a pretty good job of dealing with the 07 issues, but it doesn't 100% eliminate them. Rumor has it there is an update in the works. From my experience and what I have seen from numerous others in here, it has been a HUGE help. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2007 Trader Rating: (1) | Good luck with that! You just have to trust your stealerships tech's to verify if you indeed have the most current flash. IMO, just go out and by a Cobb AP and flash to stage 1 V1.04. Don't screw around and drive your car with the factory ECU map because over and over again it has been proven that it's a piece of sh*t, and will most likely lead to a not so happy engine in the long run. |
