Default warranty

I was driving down the road when my oil light came on followed by the cruse and check engine light. I just changed the oil with 5-30 cynthetic and put on 300 miles.

I also noticed that I might be about a one third qouart over full, but I dont think that would throw a cell

According to the diagnostic procedure section of the service manual, oil levels above capacity can cause those DTCs. How did you overfill that much? Drain the oil to the recommended level and reset your ecu.

like i said, just drain the oil, fill it to the correct level, reset your ecu, and see where you are then.

Regardless of the level, the car takes 4.6 quarts. So if you only put in 4.6 quarts how can it be over filled?
