CCS blinking light

My '07 Sti has cel on and cruise control sytem light continuously blinking. any ideas??

Any mods yet? The cruise is disabled when a cel code is detected. Accessport can clear the code, so can the dealer.

Yup. Anytime the CEL comes on, it will disable the cruise control thus causing it to flash.

thanks all, just happened to mine as well. I am gonna try disconnecting the battery tomorrow for a little while as I have noticed in other threads this has fixed it. If it doesn't work, i am just going to take it to the dealership first thing monday.

Well your really not fixing it by doing that, you are just clearing the code. It would be nice for you to find out what the code was because it may come back. Then you can start looking for the problem...

well yea i know it was just a temporary fix, which i can say cleared the code and CC works perfectly. If it comes back I am definitely gonna take it to the dealership and ask them what is up. I unplugged my battery for about an hour this morning, hooked it back up and check engine light stayed off and the CCL wasn't blinking like before so its all good now. I think the reason the CC might have reset was due to driving. I was going approx. 65mph and got on it in 4th on the way to the airport yesterday and it just started blinking, i noticed it as soon as the check engine light came on, but now that i know what it was i am somewhat relieved. Thanks everyone!

almost sounds like a boost spike....are you on stock tune?
