IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2004 Trader Rating: (0) | Hi, I am making a before and after video to compare the sound of my stock headers with a set of Perrin equal length headers. Here is a video of the stock headers.... give me a couple weeks and I will add the perrin header ... and a gated up-pipe to the video for comparison. NOTE: Right click and save to your computer... I don't have streaming video .. o the file is 140 meg in size. http://n8rws.com/Megan 3inch.wmv For more HD video of my STi visit my webpage and click the "HD Video" link.. | Junior STI Driver | if u guys are curious, my car has megan turbo back and a header. now its on a 06 wrx and the exhuast came of a 05 sti and they sounded different, the sti was more raspy and a little louder. i am not sure if that had to do with the different rpm and accleration of the 6mt vs 5mt or if it had to do with the different heads on the motors. I went with the more expensive one (HDR-HC7) because it has better audio recording (level) adjustments. Some of the first cam corders I tried distorted during loud (STi blast or loud music) videos. FYI... you need some heavy software (SONY Vegas I use) and one he!! of a computer to render the tape to HD or SD video... it takes every bit of power my 2Gig core duo has to offer... |
