Yeah, something wasn't right during the 2nd race. I've raced a C5 Z06 from my 2nd gear at around 3300rpm and pulled quite well till 100 and i'm on the stock turbo and tmic.

Not to be a hater, but it annoys me when people race on a road with other passenger cars... At least pick an empty road.

On a side note, that's a fast STi.

2nd race he should have started in 2nd gear instead of 3rd gear. 2nd would have put the revs right at 5k.

honestly we have no clue what gas and or boost the STI is running. I have seen stock c5 z06's trap as high as 116. If the STI is ruuning pump say 91 then he pulled away very good. Just to many variables to make a decision. Good race though, except for the whole traffic thing.

honestly for a a 35r im not really impressed against a c5 z06. Should of walked him much harder for being a stock z06. A 35r isnt a little guy. Anyone agree?

Like I said he have no clue what theSTI was running for boost and fuel. If was running meth or race gas then yes he should have walked him much harder. But if it was strait pump especially 91 then he didnt do to bad.

He could be on low boost, possibly 20psi or something. One never knows

ive kept up with a c5 z06 with my stage 2 (and custom tune) on 93 and i just went with a bigger top mount (ESX) and turbo (20g td06) and raced a c5 z06 the other day with headerback exhaust and spanked it. (ALL on 93 octane and no meth) The gt35r should have raped it. it is either low boost, shi**y gas, or a bad tune.
