IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | ^^^ i'd never heard of it before until a couple months ago but from my inference skills (lol) i believe its just giving it gas while braking (so as to try to stay at a constant speed - or slow down -whatever you need to stay at the car next to you) while building boost at the same time...so as soon as you WOT, youre off, and dont need to wait to build boost. and wow, that must be really bad for your brakes lol. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | usually if i'm about to run with someone, i will start off in a higher gear before we start to go and then as soon as its time, i downshift and that seems to build boost as well...i dont know, maybe its just me, but in case you dont get it i'll describe... say were gonna go from 3rd gear on teh third honk...during the first and second honk i will be in 4th or 5th giving it more gas then usual, but not really advancing or going anywhere, because it builds boost slowly, then i'll quickly shift into a lower gear and it seems like it jumps a little more... sound stupid? or plausible? |
