IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | Thought you guys might like to see this footage from yesterday - unfortunatly they didn't get the start of the run! http://s152.photobucket.com/albums/s...t=54fe7ce0.flv Just to give you a further idea of how quick Andy F's Impreza is, the Green Norris Designs Evo was quicker than a Ferrari Enzo at a V-Max day we had a few months back at RAF Marham! The Impreza is also totally (UK - so by default, legal in all of Europe as well ) road legal - although I'm not sure a) you'd want to drive it on the road b) how far you'd get before you ran out of fuel! IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | Andy ran a 9.27 @ 156mph that day. No idea what the Norris Designs car ran - kinda annoying that they haven't posted the full results list for the day. The second fastest car of the day was Roger Clarke Motorsports Impreza which ran a 9.59 @ 148mph, they also came 5th in the overall top speed at 194.1mph @ 1 mile, and came first in the handling section. Just feel I should make a gentle reminder that these times are on road legal tyres (R888's on the RCM car I believe.. not sure what Andy runs his car on but I can find out if your interested )As a comparasion for conditions and the like, Tim Webster in the Pro-Drag Duke R33 GTR, ran an 8.74@156mph. I don't think a road car being half a second shy of a pro-drag car is bad going at all This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad.
