Default Not Another Tunnel Vid... (Cobb Catted)

I figured I would link-up a vid taken with me driving through a tunnel. I was first @ a red light so the traffic was clear. Slowed up @ the end since there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Other vids, including exhaust comparisons b/w stock, g200 and cobb also on my youtube account. Enjoy.

Mods: Protuned stage 2 (Cobb dp, Cobb tbe, Cobb Short Shifter, Cobb LW Pulley, SPT Intake w/ heat shield, and Prodrive 3-Port Boost Solenoid).

i am definitely liking the lack of loudness. The g200 was a screamer at higher rpms. the cobb, not so much.

nice stuff, what kind of numbers are you putting down, and how do you like the short shifter from cobb?

very good question. i do not have a dyno with the cobb catted setup. with the invidia/g200 catless i was running: power: 285.1 @ 6750 rpm, torque: 297.9 @ 3750 rpm (mustang dynamometer, 80 degrees at 30% humidity on cali 91 octane).

i am getting a couple things done next thurs and need another tune. i will post #'s if you are interested.

i went from the stock sti shifter (not short) to the cobb... i love it. no problems at all and it is smooth smooth smooth. i think that was a great addition and i wish i had done that one sooner.

I'm curious about the power difference between the exhausts. Besides being catted, isn't the cobb a 2.5" at certain parts? I'm also considering getting an invidia setup, but might prefer the cobbs sound.

i have been told that the power diff b/w catted and non is roughly 5-10 to the wheels. i prefer the cobb setup b/c it doesnt drone @ highway speeds and isnt quite as loud otherwise. the droning annoyed the #$%@ out of me.

i will post the results of next thursday's pull /tune when they come in.

that would have been sweet. minus the wind noise and the tire noise. nice job on the stg two protune.

I'm not asking about catted vs non-catted, I'm asking the difference between a full 3" exhaust and the cobb with the 2.5" connection.

i was under the impression that the invidia dp and g200 setup was a full 3". i know the cobb isn't. is that correct?
