Default Chasing Porsches and a Atom on Buttonwillow

Just went to a track day at Buttonwillow. Great track and it was hot (95 degrees).

There were a lot of Porsches there that day and I had the opportunity to catch some on video. Black Carrera S, yellow GT3, and a silver Carrera S.

The Atom is a sweet track car and I wish I could afford one. It had a novelty license plate on it that said "SEE YAH". I missed the apex on a turn and went off track later.

There was an on track photographer and I bought a photo.

I don't see a mod list or what tires you are on. Nice driving.

Madness... you took down a GT3, 2 Carerra S and an Atom. Nice driving! Those guys probably came close to swallowing their tongues in disbelief when you overtook them.

In their defense, they may have just holding back so they don't wreck their $86,000-$106,000 car The Atom driver seemed like he needed more seat time.

Very nice driving.
I assume with your setup, that car used mostly for track?

Thanks.

Nope, I drive to work in it Monday through Friday. That's why I picked the softest springs with the coilovers. Basically to transform it for track, I swap to race tires on my stock wheels, stiffen the rebound on the coilovers, adjust the front camber a bit with my camber plates, and load the high octane Protuned map from my Cobb Accessport.

edit: and I remove my exhaust silencer and swap in track brake pads in the front.

The BPM TBE GT is a nice exhaust. Good power gains. With the silencer in, it is great for daily driving. I drove by many cops and they never hassled me about it. It is really loud without the silencer, so I only take it out for track days.

Check out the exterior sound (w/o silencer) on the dyno.
