I just posted a couple of High Definition videos of 1/4 mile dragstrip action.

Both videos are from inside the cabin of my 2005 STi

One is of my 12.42 pass the other is of some sideways launch action.

Both files are huge (50 and 70 meg) but are in Windows Media HD format.


Warning: Right click and save the file to your computer because I don't have streaming video capability...

sideways launch is not letting me view it and its giving me a clicking noise thats like a million times a minute?
Other than that the first video is DL just fine. ... I'm Waiting to watch it

Yea.. that was a scare... thanks to TJ for the quick fix!

Actually, I have not run the car at the track since that happened and my last pass (against Turkish) was very poor... I was worried that I AFU'ed the engine but .... in fact, the ECU was in "limp mode" after the intake came off and it was holding back timing. On "the day after" I re-set things and gained some pony's and torque in the process.

Nice job, another STi that is hitting mid 12's, has anyone gotten 11's on stock turbo? You just need a lot of bolt ons and race gas I believe and good tuning?

To date, one STi has run 11.78 on the stock turbo... here is a link to the post about it:

My goal is to make it into the 11's with the following mods:

Typhoon, Hallman MBC, Megan 3" exhaust, VP 109 race fuel and my tuning (with help from Shawn, Ed & John)
