| Grassroots STI Racer | I saw this thread on another board - The guy is "Al" a former lawyer who now does EVO / STi tuning in the NJ area I believe - DynoFlash Tuning is the shop name IIRC. The noise between shifts is the UTEC allowing the flatfooting.. I just wanted to update on my Project STI Its been back on the road after my gear change project now for a while - still running 100% stock short block and heads I really find this set up a great street car set up and I love the way the car runs UR GT35 UR fmic and pipes Buschur double pumper PE850 Ap fuel rails E Boost 2 ebc AP2 pro tuned Utec SD Greddy evo 2 cat back Buschur mini battery kit The car made 550 to the wheels at 30 psi I drive it at 27 psi every day on 104 unleaded gas Honestly - I think I am happy with it as it sits as my daily driver (not sure that I would feel that way if my Evo did not go 156 in the 1/4) For now I am content This ad is not endorsed by this member. | Grassroots STI Racer | I think he will blow it up soon... I have heard of people with no mods other than AP with a protune that is not in the safe range... what do they call it, ring land or something like that? |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (6) | he sure does... he also likes to mess with the correction on the dyno to... so who knows what it actually puts out... ALso, he tuned my friend evo that had stock injectors and it was dumping fuel.. and that when he learned about ecuflash and learned that Al scaled the fuel map for 800+cc injectors... |
