Default Testing out AndrewSS's camera mount

<embed width="430" height="389" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://vid80.photobucket.com/player.swf?file=http://vid80.photobucket.com/albums/j183/rdracer301/vid/67bc26ab.flv"></embed>

The install was easier than wiping my (_|_). The quality of parts were top-notch. Service/communication was superb.

The mount is very stable as you can see in the clip. I did have the camcorder's stabilizer on, but I don't think you can have a more stable mount.

I'm very happy with it.

Nice man. I've been contemplating on getting one of those for my car just to see how I drive from the exterior-side. That looks like a fun road to drive on too =).

Your car sounds awesome. Camera is very solidly in place.

Thanks, gents. Yeah, that road is where I test my suspension out. They just repaved it last year, so it's smooth as well. But, I do have to watch out for Bambi and her family.

Looks like you have your camera set on auto-focus

Try setting it manual for about 50ft in front of car

Yeah. I had it on auto-focus. I still need to play around with focus and zoom to get the picture right.

I also need a lens filter for use during the day. Any suggestions?

Looks good, tighten down the camera a little bit more, it played a little at the start.

I would imagine auto focus is easier on the camera in the day time, as the lights at dusk/night probably start to confuse it more.

Does it wash out in the day light? Some cameras do pretty well if they are zoomed in correctly with my mount. Anyway, looks good

Thanks Andrew for a great product.

Yeah, you caught the little camera movement in the beginning. But, I think it was the DIS (digital stabilizer thing) in the camera. No biggie

I finally found the right setting to correct the whitewash effect during the day. I went out earlier to take some footage and they look good. I'll go out for a nice drive on backroads tom morning and post it up.
