It appears she's wearing flip-flops while driving. It's possible that a better choice in footwear might make it easier for her to operate the clutch since it would provide a stable platform to work from.

My wife and daughter have both had trouble trying to operate the clutch effectively while wearing heels, sandals and flip-flops. But they've never had any real trouble when wearing a flatter, more snug fitting shoe.

It'd be a shame for your friend to lose her confidence re: driving a manual transmission when a better shoe could make a big difference.

yeah i think she definately redlined it to far. you might be leaking boost fluid now. lol. but really i was expecting her to take out a tree or a house. she did fine. just keep letting her get used to the sti clutch.
