Default Thunderhill from the rear of my STi

I had a camera mount made for the hitch of my car. Here is the video from the test run.

SWEEEEEEEEEEET! That is a really cool angle to shoot from.

When were you there and who were you running with? I noticed that you were not running the bypass on 5... WAY more fun that way!

Will you be headed there for Trackmasters (4/13) or NASA (4/14 & 4/15)?

The video was shot on March 27th. I generally go with the Golden Gate Lotus Club.

Here is another video from the second session on the same day.

In this video, the camera is mounted to the passenger sun visor clip.

Too cool!

The fact that you almost constantly hear the tires squealing is an added bonus!

That is really nice. Great clouds in the background too. Beautiful day.

Questions: What kind of exhaust/TBE? I notice it seems to have a nice rumble but not offensive at all. Also, are those your track tires doing all that squealling, or your street tires? I assume at those speeds you are on your track tires, but I am not used to that much "feedback."

When I first started viewing the video, I thought it was from a racing game, because it was so clear and stable, with bright colors.

I have a Helix downpipe with a stock exhaust. I think it sounds different because the camera is a foot away from the exhaust. The car sounds stock to me.

I'm running RA-1's on the track. The tires do squeal, and to be honest, in the rear view vid, I was abrupt on the controls because I was thinking about the camera view and the Vette behind me. With a smoother turn in, they wouldn't have been as noisy at those speeds/lap times.

Thanks for the comments on the quality of the vid. When transfered to YouTube it lost much of the quality. It's extremely clear on my monitor and TV. Pretty good from a $120 camera!
