Ive seen some Cobb TBE and DAMN i never knew they backfired like that!!! Sounds really good too! I thought the Cobb was supposed to be on the quieter side. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/7...e10160ca33.htm

He is Ben, the site's admin. This is when he bought his '05 STi and before he went crazy with all the mods. I believe he was running untuned at the time of that video, that's why the flames.

thats a prime example of why not to run a bov.(rich between shifts) i run a turbo xs turbo back and dont have a cannon going off when i shift. just a little backfire but not like that

It was a completely stock car with just a Stage 2 off the shelf map. No bov, no other engine mods, etc.

Almost all the stage 2 maps run like that. Most people just don't shift like that and/or they have no way of driving AND seeing the back of their car at the same time. I've driven 4 other stage 2 cars and made all of them shoot flames lol .

Obviously this only works on a catless exhaust. On a catted system all of that gas would burn up in the cat before it ever got close to the tail pipe. On a catless car the gas goes all the way down the downpipe, midpipe, and shoots out the tailpipe .

P.S. Why do people steal videos and post them without even knowing what they're posting? LOL Gotta love street fire...
