Default 158 mph - High speed run

Well, I wanted to find out how fast my 04 STi would go with a stage 1 AP. This is all legal since I live in Germany. Getting to the speed limiter in stock form (at 147 mph) isn't hard, but drag really works against the car beyond that. The most I could squeeze out was 158 mph. That is "road speed" as reported by my ECU monitor, not the indicated speed on the speedometer.

Drag limited at about 6500 RPM. I suppose with enough hp you could get to 176 or so mph before redlining 6th. I'll try again after going to stage 2, but I doubt I'll get much over 160.

Here's the video.

Thats awesome, it seemed pretty smooth at those speeds. Even though the road looked kind of harsh in some spots.

There are some stretches of road in Montana and Texas where one could feed some speed into their ride, nevertheless nice run. I love the Autobahn!

It's a USDM 04 STi...2.5L. The car is very stable at those speeds. I've got KW coilovers and the car is lowered a bit.

The 5-6 shift wasn't so good, but oh well.

Interested to see stg 2 and protune if stg 2 doesn't redline. You could always raise the limiter
