Well actually its a three part battle including the Subaru Impreza WRX Sti spec C Type RA-R at Tsukuba. Other cars in the battle are MONSTER Lancer Evo9 GSR 340-Spec, TOM'S Lexus IS45, MONSTER Swift Sports OHLINS Special-R, Colt Ralliart Version-R, Mazda Speed MX-5, MCR 350Z. Its in Japanese but Im sure you guys will enjoy the videos anyway.

Very cool videos, I wish I spoke Japanese though. Sure beats rolling start videos on the highway.

Great Video, not really fair though to the Subies to run them against a fully modified Evo and Z.

Yeah that is not a fair battle at all. Both subarus are production cars and have to play by a different set of rules than the aftermarket tuned cars.

Well - unless they were only trying to show how well production STIs would stack up against modded/tuner cars...and from the looks of it - the STIs did pretty good...
