Default SR55 compilation **UPDATE 1/10/07 NEW VIDS!!**

Well guys, today I got bored and decided to make a small vid of my car. There is a 2nd gear pull at the end, but its nothing too crazy. For some reason photbucket seems to lag a little too, but oh well. Either way, it will give people an idea of what its like to drive an sti with an SR55. cheers.

***UPDATE 1/10/07: New videos added!!***

Here is a 1-5 pull:
http://s49.photobucket.com/albums/f2...ent=Sti1-5.flv

A 1-5 pull and highway pull in 5th and 6th:
http://s49.photobucket.com/albums/f2...ighwaypull.flv

And an outside pull:

Sorry about the quality, photobucket just doesnt allow for the best videos, but these should be fairly decent pulls. I will take some day videos this week. Enjoy!!

Yea I know, it was more of a fun vid showing what my car has in it and normal driving. I really didnt get on it too crazy either. The spool is about 4k for lower gears, but in 5th and 6th especially I can get full spool by about 3600-3700 rpm. The main thing to note is the response between shifts. It doesnt lag at all once its above 4k, where some turbos will between shifts. This is the true difference in spool that people dont seem to understand. Im gonna try and take more vids today and show everyone what its like in higher gears, cause thats were this car really pulls a lot harder than the stock turbo.

Nice vid, surprised to see the turbo spooling at 4k... not bad. Have you considered anything else to bring back some low end?

Sorry but that vid needs help. And what's with holding the camera while you drive? Get a friend or a mount, as if you wouldn't have enough to deal with shifting and all.

sounds good from what little i can hear. what's up with the music? i hear that playing from the "blue oyster bar" when i drive by.

i wish people would load vids w/o music. that motor has a much better sound than 90's afterhours house music.

i laugh when i hear guys playing music in their cars while on a track ( i know you not doing that btw). but its funny to see a guy rolling around Willow Springs bumping his tunes. you really gotta hear whats going on around you.

on the SR55.

If you can make a day video so we can see some better detail of whats going on under the hood. Im looking into the SR/55 or SR/56. Some outside of car vids would be great too so we can hear what she sounds like.
