Default STi Limited with UR t3/t04e kit

This is the first modified STi Limited I have seen. The car looks great and sounds even better. BTW isnt this guy a member on here?

haha! I'm driving that STi. A customer of mine turned me loose to design his sti. I picked out a brand new 07 STi Limited, and 13k worth of new parts/labor/tune and created the ultimate daily driver. This is the car that Doug recently tuned, made 441whp on c16. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1148167

the vids are being filmed from my lgt.

^ yes. the final tune was around 390whp on 93 pump, 19psi. this sti is bad ass, complete with tein flex, f/r sway bars and endlinks, ss brake lines and hps pads, hood dampers, radiator hoses, tial bov, perrin fmic, UR T3/T04E kit, etc.

I was driving this sti last weekend and a new GTO 6.0 pulled up beside of me and wanted to race...I waxed his ass 3-4 times from a roll. The guy had no idea what the car was, and professed he was no match, even on the highway.

new gear ratios are great! I redlined 4th gear past 114mph, very impressive. I think a stg 2 07 with race gas/meth will run 11's if driven properly. a stock 07 is sickly laggy/slow, and desperately needs to be tuned and modded to feel as "spunky" as an 04-06.

I had a very unique situation at my house last week. I had the T3/T04E 07, and a bone stock 07 Limited STi in my driveway. I got to drive the stock 07 sti before and after it was flashed with Dougs tune, and compare it to the T3/T04E STi. I got a good taste of the 07's, stock/stock with reflash/and modified T3/T04E.

In the end, I actually prefer my 04. I like the rawness of my car, it means business. the 07 limited's remind me too much of my lgt limited, nice compromise between luxury and power. When I get into my STi I want POWA!!!

How are the LTDs #s compared to an 04-06 with the same setup? Just curious because Doug's Stage 2 '07 numbers are freakish compared to previous years and there is debate whether or not it is the new turbo or the new heads.

the T3/T04E kit is a great bang for the buck setup, but I'd probably go with a 20g or a 30r. the 20g setup will cost about the same but have much quicker spool. the 30r will also spool quicker and make more power up top, but it's going to cost you an extra $1000.

the new ecu and heads are the reason for the additional power.
