IWSTI Addict since: May 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | hahaha that sucks...im sorry but with the stock evolution 8 turbo those numbers seem a little high for pump and no meth or race gas or nitrous...it may have been "stock" plus a 1.5 hotside...still. i would go cry and never show my 35r's face again....im flabbergasted.... |

He went 11.8@118mph at the track on pump. Highest hp stock turbo pump gas evo so far. Supposedly the sti driver is pretty good. I think things could have possibly been different if both cars were starting at higher speeds and higher gears. http://forums.evowned.com/showthread.php?t=3261 Last edited by Swine; 12-04-2006 at 12:22 PM. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2004 Trader Rating: (3) | Something is wrong with that STi for sure. My RPMs move faster and im in a stock turbo ReX. His RPMs move very slow for a GT35R turbo... Im not knocking on the Evo, its fast period. But again something is off with that STi... But hey a win is a win. |

| Amateur STI Driver | Something is not right there...someone did a bad tuning job on that STi, especially with a 35r on it. It's the power under the curve, so if that Evo was tuned better to make a fatter curve down low there you go. Also that is a 5spd. Evo GSR by the way so YES he does need 1 less gear...but still that 35r should have walked the Evo if it was properly setup with complimenting mods and a proper tune. |
