IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | Jason, I didn't realize we had a quick 06 up here. It's nice to see a video from a "local" track (well, local being 2 1/2 hours away from me hehe.) Are you on www.toronto-subaru-club.com?Cayuga/TMP is a great track though I find I always get stuck racing something that runs 10s. How do you like the Ultimate Racing TBE? I'm torn between going with UR's TBE over Cobb's mainly because they are only about 45 minutes from me and I won't have to pay shipping/duty. Is there any drone with the TBE on the highway? |

With my UR TBE install because i have a trailer hitch they had to use a shorty Magnaflow muffler. Lets put it this way....on the highway at 3,000 rpm with 4 people in the car you had to pretty much yell to have a conversation because of the drone. My $1,500 stereo system was pretty much a waste as well. But now that I have installed the APS headers the droning is almost gone. It's quieter at idle too. I enjoy it much better. Each exhaust is made to order and the guys welding at UR is art. Which track do you go to TMP or the Shannonville strip? What do you run for times on the strip? There was a white STi there last month running 12.5's supposetly, I didnt see it,my son told me about it when i was waiting inline. Last edited by jasv11; 11-27-2006 at 10:09 AM.

As for my times... 12.5 I wish. My first time at the strip, ever, I ran 13.9 @ 99 with a 2.0 60ft. Part of that crappy time was that my clutch release bearing was messed up, so the clutch wasn't engaging very quickly. My personal best is 13.6 @ 101 w/1.821 60ft. I have a real hard time getting a smooth 1-2 shift at the track; it seems that my 1-2 shift bogs a bit and you can feel the acceleration stall for a split second. I'm not really into dragging but I definitely give you guys more credit now than I used to. I think I'm going to go back before I go AP stage 1 and then one more time after. I'm also curious if my Cusco mounts will make a difference once I install them. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad.
