They are all worth it for the track. 2) I "think" you could compress those braking zones a little more. That SRT really gained on you during braking. 3) did you have an instructor? if not ask for one every session till you can drive that track blind folded Good instructors are worth their weight in gold! 4) keep having fun! Thats about it! good luck and when you go back post another vid! -Spaze |

here is my setup, Goodridge SS lines (i have the coated ones, but uncoated works too), ATE blue (i swear by the stuff) and Pagid blue pads. Any SS line should be fine, just don't get any ebay specials If you are going to use the pads just at the track, go as aggressive as you can, I love my blues, and while they might make good street pads they are my track only pads.

do you mind noise if not, as aggressive as you can get, lol. Either of those pads "should" be fine, although i think the 2500 would begin to give up after 2 days at that track.

| Amateur STI Driver | Racecomp Engineering has a pretty good brake package that includes Goodridge SS Lines, ATE Super Blue Fluid, and Ferodo DS2500 Pads for around $400. I think you can get DS3000's or Pagid's but it may be a little more expensive. The DS2500's are a good Street/Track pad but you will probably want something a little more aggressive if you run at tracks with really heavy braking areas. If you get really into track days you might want to think about RCE's Kool Brake Kit as well. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
