Default Genomne Video/sound clip *update more clips* 11-12-06

Alright, there has been a bunch of request for how the Genome sounds. Well, last night I was able to shoot a couple quick sounds clips of some idle and reving. My setup is Stromung divorced DP catless, Maddad 3rd cat delete, Maddad midpipe, USDM Genome Axle back.
I will get some cruising and driving clip later this weekend If I can other wise I will update as soon as I get a chance.

Windows down sound clip

I'll have drive by sometime this week or next weekend.

Just revving the genome doesn't create it's infamous whistle. You really have to be in the car accelerating through the gears to appreciate it. I'll say it again, this exhaust with a typhoon makes your car sound like a pissed off demon getting ready to spit out a nasty loogie.

As much as everbody raves about them I thought it would be the cats meau. I have a buddys wrx in my shop with the same exhaust on it. I might as will put it on my car and see if it sounds better than the clip in person.

Trust me, a video clip does not do this thing justice.

OK, the sound everyone wants to hear is not the idle or reving, or even going for a drive....it's the WOT driveby!! Nothin turns heads at an autox quicker than a WRX or STi with a Genome hitting WOT in 2nd or 3rd going past a corner worker!!!

It sounds raspy. I have a similar type of muffler, and without a cat is sound slike ****. If you want to make it sound AMAZING put the stock midpipe on. That is the piece from the downpipe to the catback.

putting the midpipe on would be a total waste. You already lose power because of the neck down, Why would you want to put the resignated midpipe on. I guess the video camera can't really pick up the sound to well. Becuase everyone that I have talked to or gone flying by on the highway said that it sounds freaking sick sreaming past them. Even my buddy with his evo hear my exhaust over his as I went by.

I'll have more clips next weekend most likely if I have time. I'll be sure to get a drive by.
