4 laps of '04s at Thunderhill

hey all,

I have FINALLY gotten around to posting up the video of another '04 and I making our way around Thunderhill for 4 laps last month.

As noted in the intro, this was the 8th session of the day, which typically does not make for your best driving. Still, we managed to turn some good lap times and most importantly, neither of us went off!!!

Some of you may note that my last "best" time was a 2:14, but now with the RCE Camber Plates (Thanx RCE!!!) I have gotten that down to a 2:11. Pretty stoked.

It's a bit long, and LOUD... our 070's are prety freakin' loud out there! There are a few times where you can hear both his and my tires screaming... too funny. I think the corner workers were enjoying it nearly as much as we were.

i was there that day in the orange modded 07 orange Zo6 and the silver 07 Z51 corvette, we also had the 350Z full body kit, and the sts-v...

Yep them stockers are serious loud.I hit Limerock on thursday and they squeeled all day long .If they don't you ain't going fast enough.

Got back out at Thunderhill over the weekend (11/11 & 11/12) and managed a 2:10 followed by a 2:09 with another STi. Will post that up shortly!

That was me in the other STi. This last weekend was a blast, and we were screaming around the track.
For my first weekend in Group 3 this was an amazing experience. I really wasn't expecting the weekend to start off with open passing, but I got used to it real quick, and it made it a lot more fun and interesting.

Why did they by pass the cyclone (turn 5)? I always thought that turn was fun. It always felt like I got two wheels in the air with the miata, but I'm not sure if they ever left the ground.

Great video. What camera are you using?
