^^^^ He is stage 2 utec tuned with a full exhaust and K&N Typhoon and a perrin crank pully. The FMIC and the headers were added after and he is going to get retuned after he puts on his bigger turbo.

I cut 1.6 60's and he still walks me with drag radials not even slicks.

I cant even compare my skill though because you probably only street race and you nor your buddy have 1/4 or 60' times to back up any type of skill

and what in that vid "clearly" shows its a cobra? I showed it to my buddy and he says sounds like a modded GT and the rear LED tail looks diff than his.

I mean come on the dude put on his hazard lights on in that video you added im gonna end it there. Its already worthless street racing.
Dome man, what's wrong with you today. I don't think you should give the guy a hard time about street racing when you used to do it yourself. I can recall a certain 350Z forum, you, and a couple Zs going at it, on the street, well past the speed limit, and it's all on video.

Lastly, if I recall, your car did not take to OTS stage 2 mods very well at all. You only managed to trap 102, stage 2, if I can recall. Some lucky people with stage 2 mods are trapping 107-108 and hitting mid 12s, which should be enough to take a close-to-stock Cobra from a stop, especially on the street.

I don't think anyone doubts that a Cobra would rip a stock or moderately modded STi a new one from a roll.

We shouldnt "hate" that is a very strong word.

anyway, nice kill you left him with ease but its hard to believe it was a supercharged V8 with your mods. I think a stock terminator puts down about 360rwhp. What is your car putting down for awhp?

Nice vid thanks for sharing.

I have a 02 GT with the below mods and have raced from a 20mph roll my co-workers 06 STI and we stayed side by side until 115mph, and that kid can drive!

edit: I should note that he left me fast after 115mph and also the Evo8 did. Although the Evo I was able to pull very slightly on this 06 STI I could not we were dead even...and from a launch omg he had 3 cars and I couldnt make that up. You guys have a great car for sure and the $30+k price tag reflects that. You get what you pay for.

humm nice job the mustang got the reaction time before u but he couldn't make traction he need luanch control bad or to learn how to hold his foot steady lol and thats not cool guys look at the poor car in front of you 2 flying up on him. he was prolly saying omg omg omg there gonna ram into me. lolol.. but good job buddy. liked it wish i had the sound workin on this pos computer ... and damn tell him to stop killin those tires it dont take that much of a burn out to heat them up.. he woulda been better off with soft beefy streat drag radial's with like 18psi of air. some traction bars would help the mustang on the luanch a little and some softer springs in the front for weight transfor

I have no idea. I was road tuned so the car never saw a dyno. All I have is trap speeds.

Yea after I watched the video for the first time I saw that same thing, I need to work on my reaction. And the car at the end of the road was someone who was watching and decided to leave before anything happened. It looks like we are a lot closer to him then we actually are.

yeah the springs would help him, but you can't really put traction bars on an IRS. That's why so many Cobra guys start trading rear axles with GT's who want better handling when they get serious around 600hp and up.

Nothing beats AWD launches though, just watch that older STi rip on that yellow Cobra a few posts up.

I have yet to meet any 03 Cobra owner who hasn't taken shots of his engine and put them online

BTW I have no problem 'eating crow' or saying I am wrong. I have been wrong many times and this will definately not be the last.
LOL, you think I take pics of everyones engine bays before a race? How come no one doubts Conor's car is an STi? I mean we could have just slapped a wing and side skirts on it...you distinctly hear the blower in the 2nd with the burnout, if you want to be thick headed go for it....but its an 03 Cobra, sorry.

I can vouch for both 2stepsahead and 05silversti..I was at that race and it was a cobra. And the pictures that they posted of the kids car really is his car.. anyway just a question you are on an sti board and since you drive an sti.. wouldn't you be happy with a win on our side?? idk just a thought..
