what does "headlight removed" have to do with anything? lol

"i raced a cobra last night with his headlight removed. he lost. he should have removed his other headlight."

Ok, not to condone street racing but,....I have to admit...that was cool!
Although, I hope that the next generation STI comes with enough Power to kill by 3 cars lenght stock any would be pony car, even with mods. Supremacy in the performanace category. Just a wish

I'm guessing that removing the headlight allows cold air to flow directly to the short ram air filter.

I have actully never been dynoed. I was road tuned by Jr at his old shop which didn't have a dyno.

Are the 03 Cobras the best year to own?
I guess what I'm asking is are they the best platform to start from if someone wanted to get most bang for buck performance wise?

Yes, they are supercharged and underrated from the factory. Simple, cheap mods make a huge difference and the stock block is stout. I have seen Cobras with nothing other than slicks and nitrous hit high 10's at the track. Talk about bang for your buck...

What about earlier years, like 2000, 2001, etc.. ?
Do they not make as much power or something?
