One wet lap @ Buttonwillow Raceway 10-13-06

Boataholic and I had a blast at open test day on the 13th. It rained and combined with the RE070's make for some interesting driving at times. This was my first video taken with AndrewSS's new camera mount, it worked great and was well worth the money.

yeah that lap looked nice and smooth, the camera mount seems to work really well no motion sickness watching..i might have to get one of those

Thank you very much for the complements guys, greatly appreciated. Normally when it's dry squealing tires act as an audible indicator "telling" you to modulate throttle and steering. This is not the case when things are soaked. Instead, you concentrate on the sensations the car gives you as it looses grip. Tough to explain.....

One thing is for sure, even with AWD, diffs, sensors and the like, you can still loose control of the car in and out of turns. Making sure you have power to those wheels is essential to maintaining the intended direction. I really had some close calls

Everyone should take the to learn how to drive in the rain, especially at the track.

what was your best dry and then wet lap time? Did you set the car up differently?
