i have done the same thing straight out the dp but also noticed a loss of low end tq, but on the other hand the faster spool up almost makes up for it.

anyone in CA scared of modified exhaust should just have a stock tbe and hide the cutout, set it so it goes open at wot. thatd be siiiiick.

You have no idea how loud it is until you try it. When I did my TBE, I only had ramps so after I got the dp on I started the car with no midpipe to get the back up on the ramps. It was friggin deafening. I was sure my neighbors (this was in a garage in a apt complex) were going to come see what the hell was going on.

i cant wait. how dangerous is it to take a short 5 min drive with either just the DP or just the DP and midpipe on it?

I don`t think the car will be harmed if you take it out for a few minutes, but I`m sure extended use will be detrimental to the car in some way...

Closest this car will come to ever sounding like a V8.
Savage.

Too bad you cant make a fake muffler tip so it at least looks legal from the rear.
Just keep a watchful eye for the Po Po.

I mean even at low RPM's when you were cruising around the neighborhood it sounded straight up evil.
