weird im bpv sounds entirely different when i run the yellow spring. maybe its cause im pushing more boost? dunno......

I have the same BPV and it doesn't sound anything like that. More of a quiet "ping" sound. I'm also using the yellow spring, but I have a shim in it.

last night as an experiment i threw the red spring which i usually run perfectly fine with and then added the 2 shims. i got that flutter sound but lost alot of power. boost wouldnt build or vent right. think the spring was too stiff which would explain the flutter. swap in one of the softer springs and see if it goes away and you feel a power gain of some sort.

Holy compressor surge batman!

"sounds cool" but isnt good for your turbo and potentially your engine if it brakes a vein off the turbo and feeds it to your engine.

yeah i swapped right back, the only reason i did the swap was to make sure that the reason partysti's bpv made a different noise was do to far too stiff a spring. so partysti id swap to a softer spring cause i noticed a horrible problem when my forge bpv made the same noise as yours.
