Hmmmm nothing is faster then the racing line... plus that wastes a lot of tires.... or maybe I'm just jealous cause I can't drift

If you are in a "drifting" race, can't you just win by not drifting and smoke them? Maybe there are rules that you have to look like an idiot as you almost hit eachother at every turn?

Yea you could not drift on a lot of turns and smoke them but on some turns I think drifting is actually pretty helpful, rallies of course but on tarmac hard turns too! Or when your coming off a turn and want to 'slide' the car just a hair over using the gas.

In actual drift competions its judges looking over the drifters and deciding which is the best based on a lot of things, such as angle, length, all sorts of other things too.
