Default 04 STi at the Nurburgring Nordschleife

Undated videos of an 04 STi (USDM) at the Nordschleife. Unfortunately, no audio. Conditions weren't the best, but not too bad either. And yes, the rule is to pass on the left...but when you're cruising along and someone is way on the left instead of the right...what are ya gonna do?

210 is the faster lap, but still about 15 seconds from the best one I've timed. Not much traffic towards the end so it's a little boring.

There are some others in the Europe forum from another guy that was there. Enjoy.

Awesome video... really.

Im actually going to be in Poland in Dec this year.

I was wondering if the track is still open?

I could take a flight...I wouldnt mind.

Also, easy to rent a nice car or no? How much would it be?

Any ideas for a American coming to visit the ring?

Thanks!

Seems like the only car that gave you a run was the M5. Nice lines..

That M5 is the ring taxi, so its got quite a bit of power on me in the straights. Anyway, I usually don't crowd the ring taxi much, as folks are paying for a good ride.

I don't have a camera mount per se...I wedged the bullet cam above the driver side sunshade. Works suprisingly well.

I don't think its open in December this year. You'll have to keep checking the web site. They've got scheduled tourist drive days through the end of November, though.

Cool vids Todd....I lived outside of Wittlich, so I was maybe 45 mins or so from the ring, but never went.

Fantastic video, thanks for not chosing some ridiculous soundtrack.

It's amazing how familar I am with a track I've never driven in person. Absolutlely amazing how realistic some of the newer driving games are.

91TB78...If I lived in Wittlich I would probably never leave the Ring...Can't complain being an hour anda half away though.
