Default My STi and brothers GTi at thunderhill

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...08868543001127

Here is a video of out track time at thunderhill earlier this year. The GTi has a fair ammount of mods but only a chip and intake for power. The STi has 260whp/300wlbstq (gruppe-s dyno), alk, sways, and -1 camber all around alignment.

Group 2 NASA day.

At the end of the straight the STi would hit about 120-125mph.
At the end of the straight the GTi would hit about 110mph.

i have a fair ammount more footage, including some from the nasa reno-fernly track day, but I'm REALLY lazy.

Also, FYI, there is a porsche cayman spin out on the video, and a WRX wagon sliding into a tirewall.

ok that makes since man your car must be fun to drive with all that torque i know the gruppe-s dyno is a real heartbreaker so to get 300 on it means like 400 on a dynojet

Oh They are. On a side note, I made 266/288 gruppes with catless helix/borla hush/ap

The tuning is pretty much unbeatable.

Yes they are the falken azenins. So far they are the best bang for the buck. 90% of the grip of R compounds but at half the cost. They have lasted 7 track days so far but they are almost gone. I might be able to get 9 out of them. (I have a second set of rims for street tires.)

The camera mount is a tripple suction mount. I don't remember the name of the manufacture off hand but it was one of the smaller ones, a great product though.
